NAFSMA Leaders Ask for WRDA Policy Recommendations from Members by February 10, 2020 As NAFSMA works to develop its final set of recommendations for consideration under a Water Resources and Development Act of 2020, the leadership is asking members to send in their proposals to be included in the association’s list of issues for WRDA by February 10, 2020.
Administration Releases Final WOTUS Step Two Rule The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of the Army on January 23, 2020, released the prepublication version of the new final “Navigable Waters Protection Rule: Definition of Waters of the United States.” EPA Administrator Andrew Wheeler and Assistant Secretary of the Army (Civil Works) R. D. James announced the release of the final rule at a meeting of the National Association of Homebuilders in Las Vegas.
